JAB JA-121PW Bus Dual PIR+MW Motion Detector

Overview

The JAB JA-121PW is a bus-connected dual PIR + microwave (MW) motion detector designed for indoor intrusion protection. The device triggers only when both sensors detect movement, improving resistance to false alarms.

Installation and requirements

This detector is a component of JABLOTRON systems and should be installed by a trained technician with Jablotron certification. Install vertically (cover latch down) at the recommended height of 2.5 m. Avoid mounting near large metal objects that can reflect MW signals and avoid placing multiple detectors whose MW fields may interfere.

Configuration

Settings are configured in the F-Link software (Devices → Internal Settings). PIR and MW have separate immunity levels; MW sensitivity is selectable (100%, 75%, 50%, 25%). MW confirmation can be set to operate only in certain armed states, always active, or disabled; MW-only mode or PIR-only operation is also possible.
