BAT-3V6-AA-LS is a primary lithium cell in LS(T)14500/CR14500 (AA) format with a nominal voltage of 3.6 V and a rated capacity of 2.45 Ah. It is specified for long-term use in security, alarm and related electronic systems that require stable output and extended shelf life.

This is a primary (non-rechargeable) cell — do not attempt to recharge. Because of its 3.6 V nominal voltage it is not a direct replacement for standard 1.5 V AA cells unless the device supports that voltage.

Cells of this type feature low self-discharge and can retain capacity during extended storage (up to about 10 years under optimal conditions). The operating temperature range and tolerance to cold make them suitable for devices exposed to low temperatures where alkaline cells lose performance.

Benefits in security systems include a stable voltage profile, relatively high capacity in an AA-sized cell and improved cold-weather reliability. This reduces replacement frequency in wireless detectors, keyfobs and other critical modules.
