Jablotron JA-151R – Signal repeater for JA‑100 systems

JA-151R signal repeater extends radio coverage of JABLOTRON 100+ systems by retransmitting received signals between a control panel’s radio module and selected wireless peripherals. It is intended for installations where additional wiring or extra radio modules are impractical and where improved RF reach is required.

The repeater is typically installed roughly halfway between the panel’s radio module and the most distant device so it can capture and retransmit signals at full power. JA-151R is a modernized successor to JA-150R, offering a more compact footprint and operation on 8–15 V DC. It supports most one‑way devices and selected two‑way asynchronous peripherals of the JA‑100 family.

Benefits and use cases: provides reliable coverage in larger buildings, zones with strong signal attenuation, and technically challenging areas; reduces the need for additional cabling and simplifies system layout. The device is intended for installation in a JA-194PL enclosure that can house a power supply and a backup battery for continued operation during mains failure.

Compatibility and limitations: compatible with control panels JA-103K, JA-107K and radio modules JA-112R (and older JA-111R). It repeats the majority of one‑way detectors, keyfobs and non‑addressable PG modules and selected two‑way asynchronous devices. It does NOT repeat fully two‑way (synchronous) devices such as JA-15xE keypads and access modules, sirens (JA-1xxA), certain fire detectors with internal siren, motion detectors with camera, combined PIR+MW units, thermostats, addressable output modules or other repeaters.

Installation notes: power the unit from a stable 12 V DC source (range 8–15 V). For uninterrupted operation during mains outage install the recommended BAT-4V8-LH0900 backup battery and mount the repeater in the JA-194PL enclosure.
