JAB JA-197J is a leather key tag with a dual UID chip supporting LF RFID (125 kHz) and HF NFC/MIFARE (13.56 MHz). It is designed for contactless user authorization in JABLOTRON JA-100, JA-100+ and Mercury systems and works with keypads and readers that support these frequencies.

Typical uses include quick arming/disarming of the alarm, opening doors or gates and other control actions triggered by presenting the tag to a reader. The leather finish provides a neat, durable appearance suitable for everyday carry on a keyring.

The tag transmits UID identifiers and requires compatible readers/keypads; it does not alter user codes or system settings during programming. Access rights and device enrollment must be managed via the control panel or access module of the system.
