Product overview

The JA-113A-BASE-RB is the electronic base of a BUS external siren for JABLOTRON systems. It provides acoustic and optical alarm signalling outside the protected premises and can act as a pre-sensing tamper detector. The base must always be fitted with a compatible cover from the JA-1xxA-C-xx series (cover sold separately).

Installation and configuration

The device occupies one position in the system and is intended for installation by a trained, certified technician. Mount the siren on a vertical wall with the strobe facing downwards and avoid locations prone to ice formation. Configuration and enrolment are performed via the F-Link software.

Main technical features

  • Acoustic output: 100 dB/1 m (with new backup battery).
  • Dimensions with cover: 200 x 300 x 72 mm (depending on cover type).
  • Typical backup battery lifetime: approx. 5 years.
  • Operating temperature: -25 °C to +60 °C.
  • Security grade: Grade 2 (EN 50131-1).

Notes

The base includes BUS terminals, backup battery connector and tamper sensors. To comply with EN 50131-1, use of a backup battery is recommended. Follow installation and testing procedures; do not modify electronic components.
