Bus back-up booster unit JA-120Z

JA-120Z is a modular BUS booster and backup supply unit designed for the JABLOTRON 100 system. It raises the available BUS current, extends the usable length of BUS wiring and provides galvanic separation between input and outputs, ensuring reliable 12 V device supply during mains failure when a backup battery is connected.

The unit provides two independent BUS outputs; each output can extend the BUS run by up to 500 m. The nominal output voltage is DC 13.5 V with a maximum output current of 2 A. For higher power requirements, up to three JA-120Z units can be connected in parallel.

JA-120Z does not increase the maximum number of addressable devices on the BUS — it only improves power availability and reach. The unit accepts a 12 V lead/gel backup battery with a recommended capacity of 7–18 Ah (plug-in connector). Charging time to approximately 80% for an 18 Ah battery is under 72 hours.

ENCLOSURE: The PLV-CP-L plastic enclosure for mounting and protection is not included and is supplied separately. The module is galvanically isolated (4 kV test) and meets relevant security standards. Operating conditions: -10 °C to +40 °C, up to 75% RH (non-condensing).

Applications: extending BUS wiring in larger installations, powering distant modules and adding dependable backup power to JABLOTRON 100 systems where stable BUS supply and galvanic separation are required.
