Motion detector for outdoor use JA-188P

Overview

The JA-188P is an outdoor wireless motion detector that pairs an Optex dual‑zone PIR optic with a Jablotron radio transmitter for integration into JABLOTRON 100/100+. It is engineered for reliable perimeter detection and strong immunity to false alarms.

Use and compatibility

Intended for perimeter and open‑area protection within a JABLOTRON 100/100+ installation. The unit occupies one address slot in the system and complements other detectors to improve overall coverage.

Installation notes

Recommended mounting height is 2.5–3.0 m. When mounted at 2.5 m tilt the detector slightly upward (~2.5°) to achieve the specified 12 m range. Device parameters are set via DIP switches; commissioning by a certified installer is recommended to optimise coverage and reduce false alarms.
