JA-157P – Dual‑zone outdoor curtain PIR detector

The JA-157P is an Optex curtain‑style dual‑zone outdoor PIR detector paired with a wireless transmitter compatible with the JABLOTRON 100/100+ system. Its narrow 5° detection angle provides accurate coverage of narrow openings (balconies, French doors, terraces) while avoiding adjacent areas.

Dual‑beam optics increase immunity to false alarms and reduce triggers from small animals. An anti‑masking function alerts if the optics are obscured, helping to detect tampering attempts before a perimeter breach.

The unit includes three tamper contacts — one on the sensing head and two on the transmitter module — which immediately report opening or forced removal. It occupies a single address in the JABLOTRON system and is intended for professional outdoor installation.

Wireless operation is on 868.1 MHz using the Jablotron protocol, with an open‑field RF range up to 300 m. Power is supplied by a single CR123A lithium battery (3.0 V / 1.4 Ah) — battery not included; typical battery life is around 3 years in power‑saving mode.

Installation tips and applications: mount at the edge of the protected opening at 0.8–1.2 m height for optimal curtain coverage. The detector is suitable for narrow perimeter protection where precise zoning and low false‑alarm rates are required.
