The 12V 18Ah sealed lead‑acid (SLA/VRLA) battery provides backup power for alarm systems, smart installations and UPS devices. It is intended as either a replacement battery or as part of the initial installation to maintain system operation during mains outages.

Battery runtime depends on system load and operating conditions; in smaller installations it can provide several hours of standby, while larger systems will draw power faster. Like all lead‑acid batteries, capacity decreases over time, so regular checks and timely replacement are important for reliability.
