Specify conductor count, shielding and conductor gauge up front. Shielded pairs are recommended in environments with electrical noise; larger gauge helps with powering remote units.
Efficiency tips for installers
Order labeled reels, keep spare length for routing adjustments and standardize connectors across projects to reduce installation time. Test samples in-site for critical projects.
Many options are European-made and conform to applicable EU standards, simplifying procurement and acceptance in larger installations.
If you work with Jablotron or similar systems, align cable specs with device manuals and request technical sheets when planning procurement.
