JA-115E Bus four-segment keypad with display and RFID reader

Overview

The JA-115E is a two-way BUS keypad for the Jablotron 100+ system featuring an LCD display, numeric keypad and integrated 125 kHz RFID reader. It is intended for system control and status indication and offers four programmable segments whose labels are shown on the display.

Features and operation

Each of the four segments can be assigned functions via the F-Link configuration tool (e.g. area arming/disarming, panic, PG output control, status indication). Authorization rules may be applied so that arming/unarming requires user authorization; individual segments can be set to operate without authorization if needed.

RFID, inputs and power

The RFID reader operates at 125 kHz and its mode (permanently on, activated by press, disabled or activated on authorization request) can be adjusted to save power. The keypad supports a conventional door detector input (IN, reacts to disconnection to GND). Power is taken from the control panel BUS: 12 V DC (operating range 8–15 V).

Installation and commissioning

Installation, enrolment and configuration must be performed by a trained technician authorised by a distributor. The device is mounted on the supplied backplate and enrolled into the system using F-Link or by entering its serial number.
