Overview and application

JA-156E-GR is a wireless touchscreen keypad with a capacitive display and integrated 125 kHz RFID reader, intended for user control of JABLOTRON 100+ alarm systems. It is designed for indoor wall mounting and frequent user interaction where a modern touchscreen interface is required.

Installation and compatibility: The keypad must be installed and commissioned only by a trained technician holding a valid Jablotron certificate. The device is compatible with control panels JA-103K and JA-107K. To comply with EN 50131 and to ensure proper wiring, the power supply is recommended to be mounted in the supplied KU68 mounting box beneath the keypad.

Power and backup battery: Primary power is provided by an external adapter +12 V DC (8–15 V). A Li‑Ion polymer backup battery 3.7 V/2500 mAh (recommended BAT-3V7-2500) serves as standby power; battery is not supplied. Typical backup time exceeds 48 hours; charging to 80% takes approximately 6–7 hours.

Wireless communication and RFID: Radio communication operates at 868.1 MHz (JABLOTRON protocol) with maximum ERP <25 mW and an approximate open‑area range of 200 m. The built‑in RFID reader works at 125 kHz. The unit is intended for indoor use within the specified environmental limits.
