BB-02 is an auxiliary battery equipped with its own electronics to take control of the power supply. It is intended for use with CA-1803 and CA-1802 car alarms.

During normal operation, BB-02 is powered (or charged) from the car alarm power supply. If the voltage drops below 8.5 V, BB-02 starts generating voltage. In addition to the acoustic siren, BB-02 supports all car alarm functions. This also includes voice communication if the HF-03 hands-free kit is connected. The backup voltage is generated either during the duration of the car power failure or until the BB-02 is completely discharged.
