JA-191T — Dual RFID USB Desktop Reader

The JA-191T offers convenient, reliable handling of access RFID media (cards, key fobs) for JABLOTRON JA-100 and JA-100+ alarm systems. The reader supports both low frequency (LF) 125 kHz (EM MARIN) and high frequency (HF) 13.56 MHz (MIFARE); the factory default is dual-mode operation.

The device is powered from a USB port (5 V DC). Typical current consumption is 68 mA, peak consumption 118 mA, and maximum power 0.59 W. Typical reading range for ISO cards is up to 5 cm for both frequencies. Reads are confirmed by a red/green LED and a piezo speaker.

Operating mode (LF only, HF only, or LF+HF) is selected by touching the supplied configuration cards to the reader. The package contains the JA-191T reader, a 1.8 m USB A to mini‑B cable and three configuration cards for mode selection.

On modern Windows systems (Windows 10 and 11) the reader is recognized as a composite USB device and generally requires no additional drivers. For card enrollment, use the management software (e.g., F-Link): open the user entry, select the card-number field and present the RFID media to the reader — the ID will be entered automatically.
