JA-151M-AN is a compact wireless magnetic detector designed to reliably detect door and window openings in residential and commercial installations. The detector is addressable in the Jablotron system and is enrolled via a JA-11xR radio module using F-Link configuration software.

The device communicates on 868.1 MHz using the JABLOTRON protocol with a maximum effective RF power (ERP) of 3 mW. Typical communication range in open area is approximately 300 m. It is powered by a single CR2032 lithium battery (3.0 V / 0.2 Ah) — battery not included — and typical battery life is about 2 years at up to 20 activations per day. Low battery voltage is reported to the control panel.

Two operating modes are available: status and pulse. The status mode reports both open and close events, while pulse mode reports only activations. A built-in tamper contact reports cover removal. When the cover is closed, the detector enters a 15-minute test mode to verify correct operation.

Dimensions of the transmitter are 55 x 26 x 16 mm; the permanent magnet measures 55 x 16 x 16 mm. Operating temperature range is -10 °C to +40 °C. The detector is classified as Grade 2 according to EN 50131 and complies with applicable EMC and radio standards.

For installation mount the electronics on the fixed part (frame) and the magnet on the moving part (leaf). Avoid direct mounting on metal frames as metal can affect the magnetic sensor and reduce radio range; use the supplied separation plates when mounting on metal surfaces. Recommended screws: 2 x ø 3.5 x 40 mm (flat/ countersunk head).
