Product overview

JA-153M-GR is a compact wireless magnetic contact intended for integration into JABLOTRON 100 alarm systems. It detects openings of doors and windows and monitors the local magnetic field to recognise attempts at tampering with external magnets, reducing false alarms caused by magnetic interference.

Operation
The detector continuously monitors the surrounding magnetic field and reports either a pulse or a status change to the control panel according to device configuration. Significant disturbances of the magnetic field can be reported as tamper/fault conditions.

Power supply and battery life
The unit is powered by one AAA alkaline battery (LR03, 1.5 V / 1.2 Ah) — battery not included. Typical battery life is about 2 years at up to 10 activations per day. Low battery is signalled below 0.95 V.

Mounting and activation distances
Installation must be performed by a trained, certified technician. Recommended fasteners: 2× ø3.5 × 40 mm screws. Official documentation lists activation/deactivation distances for the supplied ferrite magnet on non-magnetic surfaces (example): activation X/Y/Z ≈ 11/10/23 mm, deactivation ≈ 8/8/18 mm. Actual values vary with surface and magnet used.

Compliance and compatibility
The detector is certified by Trezor Test s.r.o. (no. 3025) and complies with EN 50131-1, EN 50131-2-6, EN 50131-5-3, EN 50131-6, ETSI EN 300 220-1,-2, EN 50130-4, EN 55032, EN 62368-1 and EN IEC 63000. It may be operated according to ERC/REC 70-03. Note: compatible only with JA-103K and JA-107K control panels and must be configured per the panel manual.
