JAB Bootloader programmer BL‑MCB is designed to connect to a PC and manage firmware on the MCB‑02 CAN‑BUS module using the official MCBLink/Bootloader application. The device allows reading the current 'CAN' package version and performing reliable firmware upgrades by loading .hexfw images.

BL‑MCB connects to the computer via USB and is powered from the USB port, simplifying use in service and installation scenarios. The Bootloader application detects the COM port assigned to the device and also allows manual selection when needed.

Typical procedures include opening the appropriate .hexfw file in the Bootloader software, using the Read command to verify the module's current software version, and executing Upgrade firmware to install the new image.
