JA-162PB is a wireless combined PIR motion and glass‑break detector from JABLOTRON ALARMS a.s. It houses a passive infrared sensor and an acoustic/pressure glass‑break sensor (GBS) in a single enclosure, designed for integration with the JABLOTRON 100/100+ family.

The PIR sensor covers a 90° angle up to 12 m for human movement detection. The GBS module analyses air‑pressure changes and characteristic sound patterns to detect glass breakage, with recommended coverage of 90° up to 9 m. Each sensor is monitored separately because the device occupies two positions in the control panel.

Wireless communication operates at 868.1 MHz using the JABLOTRON protocol; maximum ERP is <25 mW and the declared RF range is up to 500 m in open area. The detector is powered by 2× CR123A lithium batteries (3.0 V / 1.5 Ah) — typical battery life is approx. 3 years; low battery threshold <2.7 V.

Installation and commissioning must be carried out by a certified Jablotron technician. Recommended mounting height is 2.5 m above the floor. Do not mount directly opposite windows, strong air flows or ventilation outlets that could affect GBS performance.

(no. 3025) and complies with ETSI EN 300 220-1,2, EN 50130-4, EN 55032, EN IEC 62368-1, EN IEC 63000, EN 50131-1, EN 50131-2-2, EN 50131-2-7-1, EN 50131-5-3 and EN 50131-6. Can be operated according to ERC REC 70-03.
