The JA-162PB-AN combines a Passive Infra‑Red (PIR) sensor for motion detection with a Glass Break Sensor (GBS) that analyses air pressure changes and characteristic acoustic signals to detect glass breakage. The device is designed for indoor protection in residential and commercial buildings and must be installed and commissioned by a trained technician.

Use and compatibility

Designed to provide dual protection where both movement and glass‑break detection are required. The detector occupies two positions in the alarm system and is compatible with JA-103K, JA-107K, JA-102K control panels and newer models supporting the JABLOTRON radio protocol.

Installation and maintenance

Avoid mounting directly opposite windows, air outlets or strong airflow sources that could affect GBS detection. Correct height and alignment reduce false alarms. Replace batteries with recommended CR123A lithium cells, respecting polarity, and perform periodic tests to ensure reliable operation.
