Purpose
The JA-162PC combines PIR motion detection with a verification camera for indoor protection where visual confirmation of events is required. The detector occupies one system position and must be installed by a trained technician certified by an authorised distributor.

Camera, storage and delivery
The camera captures colour photos in LQ 320×240 and HQ 640×480 resolutions. Images are saved in the detector’s internal memory and forwarded to the control panel; from there they can be sent to MyJABLOTRON or an ARC. Photos can also be taken on demand.

Flash and transmission performance
A visible flash enables night shooting (flash range max. 3 m). Typical photo sizes are 5–20 kB (LQ) and 5–64 kB (HQ). Typical (LQ) transmission time to the control panel is up to 20 s (10 s); for (HQ) up to 130 s (60 s). Typical transfer to server: 15 s/GPRS; 2 s/LAN.

Installation and placement
Recommended installation height is 2.5 m above the floor. PIR detection angle/coverage is 90°/12 m and the camera horizontal capture angle is 90°. Position the detector to cover expected movement paths and avoid sources of false alarms (heaters, ventilation, direct sunlight) for reliable detection.
