JB-VA26 – Purpose and compatibility

JB-VA26 is a plastic valve adapter designed to mechanically connect the JB-150N-HEAD wireless thermostatic actuator to Giacomini radiator valves, including angle (H) versions. The product is supplied as a set of five adapters.

These adapters are purely mechanical mounting pieces and do not contain electronics. They transmit the actuator movement to the valve spindle and serve as the interface between the actuator base and the valve. The JB-150N-HEAD may be supplied with a different factory adapter (for example VA50); JB-VA26 is offered as an alternative for Giacomini valves.

Before fitting, check the valve spindle profile and diameter to ensure proper seating. Installation: remove any existing adapter, fit the JB-VA26 onto the valve spindle, then attach the JB-150N-HEAD. Ensure the adapter is fully seated and that there is no lateral play that could impair valve operation.

Perform a visual check after initial installation and periodic checks during service life. Avoid excessive force when fitting to prevent damage to the plastic adapter. If in doubt about compatibility, compare the adapter profile with the valve spindle before final assembly.
