GS-208-CO is a plug‑in interface module designed to wire Ei208W and Ei208DW stand‑alone carbon monoxide detectors into conventional alarm panels and other monitoring systems. The module delivers alarm and fault signals to the connected equipment via separate outputs without affecting the detector’s primary operation.

The wired outputs are galvanically isolated (floating outputs) from the detector electronics, preventing earth‑loop issues when integrating with external systems. Two independent contacts are provided: ALM (alarm) and TRB (tamper / fault / end‑of‑life). The ALM output remains active while a hazardous CO concentration is detected; a short ALM pulse may also occur during a successful self‑test.

GS-208-CO is not powered from the detector’s internal battery and requires an external 9–15 V DC supply (current approx. 5 mA). Module terminals are: +12V, GND, TRB, COM, ALM. DIP switches let you select contact type (NO/NC) for ALM and TRB; factory default is NC. Maximum output load for ALM and TRB is 100 mA at 24 V DC.

During installation use the supplied silicone pad for tidy cable routing and to avoid unwanted airflow through the detector housing. Route and store cables so the module cannot be pushed out of the detector connector; this preserves detector sealing and correct operation.

Manufactured by JABLOTRON ALARMS a.s., the GS-208-CO complies with applicable EMC and RoHS requirements. It is intended for applications that require isolated alarm and fault contacts from a stand‑alone CO detector for processing by an alarm or monitoring system.
