Overview

JA-156E (type 5KPAD2204RN) is a wireless NATUS keypad with a 5" touch LCD and built-in 125 kHz RFID reader. It provides an intuitive interface for arming/disarming, status display and basic local information (e.g. temperature) within JABLOTRON alarm systems.

  • RFID: 125 kHz reader for fast user identification.

Power and battery

The keypad is powered from an external adapter +12 V DC (8–15 V), type A per EN 50131-6. Backup Li‑Ion polymer battery is 3.7 V / 2500 mAh (recommended BAT-3V7-2500); declared min. 2500 mAh, max. 2520 mAh. Typical backup lifetime >48 hrs; LowBatt threshold 3.5 V; charging to 80% takes approx. 6–7 hrs. Battery is not included.

Consumption, dimensions and environment

Quiescent current (display OFF) 58 mA; maximal current (display ON) 280 mA. Dimensions: 95 x 183 x 30 mm; weight without battery 258 g. Intended for indoor use, operating temperature 0 °C to +40 °C, average humidity up to 75% RH without condensation.

Installation and compatibility

Installation and commissioning must be carried out by a trained, authorised installer holding a valid Jablotron certificate. The keypad is compatible with control panels JA-102K, JA-103K, JA-107K and JA-152KR — consult manufacturer documentation for supported firmware versions and limitations.

Certifications

The device is certified by Trezor Test s.r.o. (nr. 3025) and complies with ETSI EN 300 220-1/-2, ETSI EN 300 330, EN 50130-4, EN 55032, EN IEC 62368-1, EN IEC 63000 and EN 50131 series (1,3,5-3,6). Operation according to ERC REC 70-03 is possible. Recommended mounting screw: 4 x ø 3.5 x 40 mm (countersunk head).
