JA-120PB — Bus combined PIR motion and glass‑break detector

JA-120PB integrates two independent detectors in a single housing: a PIR sensor for human motion detection and a GBS (glass break sensor) that analyses air‑pressure changes together with the acoustic signature of breaking glass. The device connects to the JABLOTRON 100 BUS and uses two consecutive system addresses.

Both sensors feature adjustable sensitivity. The PIR provides selectable immunity levels to reduce false alarms in challenging environments, while the GBS pressure sensitivity can be fine‑tuned using a trimmer on the PCB. This allows reliable operation across different installation conditions.

Installation and use: recommended mounting height is 2.5 m above floor level. The PIR covers 110° up to 12 m; the GBS is effective up to 9 m with minimum glass size 0.6 x 0.6 m. Installation, enrollment and functional testing should be performed by an authorised technician.

Power and system data: powered from the control panel BUS (12 V DC, 9…15 V). Quiescent current is 5 mA; maximum current for cable selection is 10 mA.

Standards and certification: classified as Security Grade II / Environmental Class II and compliant with EN 50131‑1, EN 50131‑2‑2, CLC/TS 50131‑2‑7‑1 and relevant EMC standards (EN 50130‑4, EN 55022). Certification bodies are listed in technical data.
