JA-162PW is a wireless dual motion detector combining passive infrared (PIR) and microwave (MW) technologies: PIR senses thermal movement while MW confirms the event before an alarm is reported, significantly reducing false triggers.

Intended use and compatibility: Intended for indoor use within the JABLOTRON 100+ system. The device is compatible with control panels JA-103K and JA-107K.

Installation and configuration: Recommended installation height is 2.0–2.5 m above floor level. For optimal MW performance install in a room corner and avoid large metal surfaces that may affect the MW field. PIR and MW sensitivity and MW activation mode are configurable via F-Link.

The detector is supplied with a white lens that meets white-light immunity up to 6000 lux. Commissioning includes LED-supported test modes (PIR+MW and MW). Automatic battery status reporting and adjustable internal parameters allow tuning between response speed and immunity to disturbances.
