Overview
The JA-180W is a dual wireless motion detector designed for indoor human motion detection. The combination of a passive infrared (PIR) sensor and a microwave (MW) module increases detection reliability by requiring MW confirmation of PIR triggers before an alarm is reported to the control panel.

Operation
The detector works on a two-stage principle: PIR detection → MW activation → confirmation/rejection. When the PIR senses motion, the MW module is activated to confirm the event; only a confirmed MW signal triggers an alarm report to the control unit.

Installation and compatibility
The unit is addressable and occupies one position in the JABLOTRON 100 system. Recommended installation height is 2.0–2.5 m above the floor. Installation and enrollment should be performed by a qualified technician following the manufacturer's instructions.

Coverage tuning
Detection characteristics can be optimised using alternative lenses: JS-7904 (long hallway), JS-7906 (pet) and JS-7901 (curtain). Adjust the MW field so it matches the PIR coverage for reliable operation.
