JA-122E – Outdoor BUS RFID reader

The JA-122E is a compact outdoor BUS-powered RFID reader designed for integration with JABLOTRON 100/100+ control panels. It provides contactless reading of cards/tokens and optical status indication via built-in LEDs. The unit is reading-only (no keypad) and is intended to activate a PG output for access devices such as electric locks or door operators.

The reader occupies a single BUS address and is powered from the control panel bus (9…15 V), eliminating the need for a separate power supply. Typical current consumption is approximately 15 mA in standby / for cable selection.

JA-122E complies with relevant alarm and EMC standards (EN 50131-1, EN 50131-3, ETSI EN 300330, EN 50130-4, EN 55022, EN 60950-1). The housing includes tamper detection to signal unauthorized removal, and LEDs indicate the reader/section status (armed/disarmed/fault/service).

Designed for robust outdoor access points, the reader should be mounted to avoid strong electromagnetic interference and wired correctly to the JABLOTRON BUS for reliable operation. The device functions as an access reader, not as a full keypad unit.
