JA-186P is a wireless indoor PIR motion detector designed to detect human movement inside protected premises. Its dual‑zone optics improve pet immunity by requiring both zones to be triggered before signalling an alarm, reducing false alarms.

The detector provides two coverage zones, each with a 120° angle and up to 12 m range (standard lens). The dividing line between zones depends on installation height; the recommended mounting height is approximately 1.2 m above the floor. Factory settings allow adjustment of alarm behaviour and sensitivity to suit typical installation scenarios.

Power is supplied by a lithium LS(T)14500 battery (3.6 V, AA/2 Ah). Typical battery life is about 3 years under normal power‑saving operation. The device monitors battery voltage and reports low battery; replacement should follow the manufacturer's service instructions. A tamper contact reports cover removal.

Communication uses the Jablotron radio protocol on 868.1 MHz with an approximate open‑area range of 300 m. The JA-186P is addressable and occupies a single address in the JABLOTRON 100 system.

Standards and environment: complies with EN 50131-1 and EN 50131-2-2 (Security Grade 2, Environmental class II), ETSI EN 300 220, EN 50130-4, EN 55022 and EN 60950-1. Operating temperature: -10 °C to +40 °C.
