More info

JAB JA-111ST-A-AN is a BUS combined smoke and heat detector designed for indoor fire detection in residential and commercial buildings. It combines an optical smoke sensor (light scattering principle) with an A1-class heat detector to reliably detect different types of fires.

The detector is powered from the control panel BUS (12 V DC, 9–15 V). If BUS power or communication is lost, it can operate autonomously on three 1.5 V AA batteries (alkaline or FR6 lithium), ensuring continued protection in accordance with EN 14604. Typical battery life is approximately 3 years under recommended conditions.

Key features:

  • Optical smoke detection (sensitivity m = 0.11–0.13 dB/m) and heat detection (alarm temperature +60 °C to +65 °C).
  • Integrated LED indicator and acoustic signalling; monitored via the system BUS.
  • Conforms to EN 14604, EN 54-5, EN 54-7 and relevant EMC standards.
  • Dimensions: Ø 126 mm, height 52 mm; weight ~150 g (without batteries).

Correct placement is essential: mount on the ceiling where smoke can naturally reach the detector. Avoid installation in kitchens, dusty environments, near HVAC outlets or where strong air flows may cause false alarms. Commissioning and enrolment into the system should be performed by a trained installer using the F-Link software or the enrolment procedure in the manual.

Maintenance: regular functional tests (using the test button or service mode), appropriate cleaning and timely battery replacement will ensure reliable operation and longevity of the detector.
