JA-111ST is a certified BUS smoke and heat detector designed for residential and commercial premises. It houses two independent sensors: an optical smoke detector (light-scattering principle) sensitive to larger smoke particles and a heat sensor rated class A1 for temperature-rise detection.

The unit allows multiple detection settings — combined smoke and heat, smoke or heat, smoke only, or heat only. Local alarm signalling is provided by the built-in siren and LED. The detector occupies a single BUS address when integrated into the control panel.

Power is supplied from the control panel BUS (12 V DC, 9–15 V) or by 3× 1.5 V AA batteries (LR6/FR6). With batteries installed the detector can continue to operate as a standalone device if BUS power is lost (compliant with EN 14604). Typical battery lifetime under normal conditions is approximately 3 years.

The optical sensor reacts faster to dense smoke particles, while the heat sensor reliably detects fires with little smoke or rapid temperature rise (alarm temperature +60 °C to +65 °C). Operating temperature range is -10 °C to +70 °C.

  • Compliance: EN 14604, EN 54-5, EN 54-7, EN 50130-4, EN 55032, EN IEC 63000.

Installation and maintenance must be performed by trained technicians following manufacturer instructions. The JA-111ST is suitable where the combined advantages of optical and thermal detection are required, with the flexibility of BUS integration and temporary battery-backed operation.
