EI208DW is a stand‑alone carbon monoxide (CO) alarm designed for use in building interiors, caravans and boats. It features an individually calibrated electrochemical sensor and an LCD that displays measured CO concentration (readout from 20 ppm to 995 ppm in 5 ppm steps), allowing clear assessment of exposure levels.

The unit provides an early pre‑alarm from 20 ppm and gives audible and visual warnings at hazardous concentrations. The integral piezo sounder produces 85 dB(A) at 3 m. The Test/Hush button checks sensor, electronics, battery and horn and permits temporary silencing of an alarm when CO <150 ppm.

Powered by a sealed 3 V lithium battery designed to last the alarm's whole 10‑year service life; battery is non‑replaceable. The alarm records the last activation, indicates faults (yellow LED) and provides an End‑of‑Life indication (3 amber flashes and 3 beeps) when replacement is required.

AudioLINK enables acoustic download of alarm parameters and status via a smartphone app. Fitted with the optional Ei200MRF (RadioLINK+) module, the EI208DW can be wirelessly interconnected with compatible Ei devices, supporting networks of up to 12 RF devices.
