Overview
The Jablotron GS-133 is designed to detect leaks of common combustible gases: natural gas, methane, propane, butane and hydrogen. It offers two detection thresholds with distinct output behaviour and clear LED and buzzer signalling to facilitate rapid assessment and response.

Main features

  • Two‑level detection (Level 1 / Level 2) with different tones and alarm outputs.
  • Power supply: 12 V DC ±20 %; current consumption: 100 mA (150 mA when relay is active).
  • Optional relay output configurable for first or second level, max. 24 V AC / 2 A.
  • Detection principle: hot platinum filament; built‑in buzzer 94 dB @ 0.3 m.

Sensitivity (examples)
Two alarm thresholds are given in % LEL and corresponding volumetric concentrations. Examples: Methane Level 1 ≈ 10 ±3 % LEL (≈0.44 % vol.), Level 2 ≈ 18 ±3 % LEL (≈0.80 % vol.); Propane Level 1 ≈ 18 ±3 % LEL (≈0.30 % vol.), Level 2 ≈ 30 ±3 % LEL (≈0.50 % vol.). Refer to the product documentation for full specification tables.

Installation & operation
Professional installation is recommended. Mount detectors for gases lighter than air (e.g. natural gas, methane) close to the ceiling (max. 15 cm below) or on the ceiling; for heavier gases select an appropriate lower mounting point. On power‑up the green LED flashes during warm‑up (~60 s); when steady the detector is ready. Level 1 produces short beeps and LED Red I; Level 2 produces longer beeps and LED Red II.

Compliance & safety
Intended for use in non‑explosive environments such as homes, commercial premises and boiler rooms. Follow manufacturer installation guidelines and local safety procedures. Recommended normative reference for selection and installation includes EN 50244 as noted in the technical documentation.

Applications
Suitable for integration with residential and commercial alarm systems, boiler‑room monitoring and general gas‑leak detection. Do not modify installation or settings without following manufacturer instructions; in case of alarm follow local emergency procedures.
