JA-63S-100 is a battery-powered combined smoke and heat detector designed for residential and commercial installations on the JABLOTRON 100+ platform. The unit pairs an optical (light-diffusion) smoke sensor with an A2-class heat sensor; both sensor outputs are digitally processed to improve immunity to false alarms.

The detector provides a local warning via a built-in siren (min. 85 dB at 3 m) and a transparent LED indicator. Alarm events and status are transmitted wirelessly to the JABLOTRON control panel over 868.1 MHz. Sensor participation (smoke only, heat only or both) and alarm memory are configured using DIP switches.

Install the detector on a ceiling location where smoke and heat will reach it promptly; avoid direct airflow, ventilation outlets and mounting closer than 0.5 m to walls. Typical detection guidance from the manual: smoke detection radius approx. 7.5 m (depending on ceiling height); temperature detection radius approx. 5 m.

The detector complies with the standards listed in the documentation (EN 14604, EN 54‑5 class A2 and related electromagnetic and radio standards). The unit performs an automatic self-test after battery insertion and supports manual testing via the test button. Low battery is reported to the control panel and signalled locally; replace batteries according to the installation instructions.

Installation and maintenance should be performed by qualified personnel following the manufacturer’s guidelines. When used within a JABLOTRON 100+ installation, the device can provide temperature readings to the MyJABLOTRON application and trigger PG outputs based on configured temperature thresholds.
