JA-151ST is a wireless combined smoke and heat detector with an integrated siren for local and system alarm signalling. The device incorporates two independent sensing elements: an optical (light‑scattering) smoke detector and a temperature sensor, and provides both LED and acoustic alarm indication.

The optical sensor is highly sensitive to larger particles present in dense smoke, while the heat sensor detects fires that produce little smoke. Using both sensors reduces false alarms and improves detection across different fire scenarios.

The detector operates on 868.1 MHz using the Jablotron protocol; Effective Radiated Power (ERP) is 10 mW and the open‑area communication range is approximately 300 m. If communication with the control panel is lost, the unit can operate autonomously in accordance with EN 14604.

Installation and configuration must be carried out by a trained installer holding a valid Jablotron certificate. The device is not intended for harsh industrial environments with continuous contamination; correct placement and periodic maintenance (battery checks, cleaning) are important for reliable operation.
