Overview

The JB-TS-PT1000 is a universal PT1000 temperature probe featuring a compact metal tip and a 3 m silicone lead (2 × 0.22 mm²). It is suitable for measuring temperatures of gaseous, liquid and solid media within the range -50 °C to +200 °C and is intended as an external sensor for JB-EXT-TH series devices.

Usage and installation

The probe is designed as an external temperature element for indoor and outdoor thermometers of the JB-EXT-TH family (notably JB-EXT-TH-R and JB-EXT-TH-B). Its IP68 rating permits use in demanding environments; ensure proper sealing of cable entries to preserve protection.

Cable extension guidance

The factory cable length is 3 m and may be extended. Follow recommended minimum conductor cross-sections to limit measurement deviation: e.g. 10 m extension – min. 0.5 mm² (approx. +0.1 °C deviation); 20 m – min. 0.8 mm² (≈ +0.15 °C); 30 m – min. 0.8 mm² (≈ +0.2 °C).

Compatibility

Specifically intended for use as an external sensor with JB-EXT-TH-R and JB-EXT-TH-B. Do not alter product reference codes when ordering or integrating the sensor.
